Six percent (by a recent survey) of Sutton’s population is comprised of artists, artisans and musicians. You will find the artists' creations displayed in many of the local studio, galleries and craft stores along rue Principale (Route 139) the main street in the center of the village just a few minutes' walk from the Auberge le St-Amour.

You may also visit certain artists' studios directly if you so desire and perhaps observe the creation of a masterpiece!

David James

David James is a glass and stone sculptor. He has some amazing creations displayed on his website.

Louise-Andrée Roberge

I imagine most artists prefer not to be compared with another artist or style, however as an affectionado of primitive South American Art I find this artwork exciting and beautiful, reminiscent of Pablo Piccaso combined with Mayan or Aztec murals, full of stories, emotion and color.

Galerie Farfelu

Just around the corner from the Auberge le St-Amour this boutique was established as a co-op of local artists & craftsmen to display and sell their wares.
The Galerie Farfelu has on display some of the best examples of local arts and crafts available and at very reasonable prices.
